Private Clinics
Will Lent offers private 1 day clinics November through April, by appointment. These clinics are tailored to suit your needs You'll work at your own skill level and you may concentrate on any aspect of shoeing draft horses. You may bring up to two horses with you to use in the clinic or we can supply you with safe, quiet horses on which to work. If you choose to bring your own horses, you will leave with them shod under the careful eye of Will Lent. Although you will incur the cost of shoes and supplies to shoe your own horses, you will leave with the horses shod correctly and will have them as a template when you get home. We can accommodate your horses in our barn and paddocks overnight.
8 hours of instruction at the forge and anvil and under horses will cost you $750.00. You may come by yourself, or with one other person, in which case you would split the cost. Tools and supplies (although not Scotch Bottom Shoes) are at a 10% discount (cash and carry, 6% on MasterCard/Visa) at the time of the clinic.
